Bound To You

Bound to You,” a ballad which Christina Aguilera wrote for her film Burlesque.

Indeed, this is one of my favourite songs in Burlesque OST, a musical film's soundtrack that has just received three 2011 Golden Globe Nominations for Best Original Songs & Best Picture for Comedy or Musical.

Goosebumps attacked me while I was watching Burlesque scene of her singing this in the cinema.
It really touched me.
Her voice is so amazing and I've never know that she can sing so well!
Hopefully I can get this OST in this year!
(Yeah, there are so many things that I've to get, don't call me shopaholic~! xD)

Enjoy~!

Outing with Bro

On the other day, hanged out with my brother at Bukit Bintang area.
It was like 1 year plus since our last outing. D:
We went to watch I Am Number Four after having lunch at Ichiban Boshi.
You gotta try the mee soba!

my peach cocktail :)

my brother :)

Yeah, finally I’ve got to watch I Am Number Four!

My friends have been giving positive ratings about this movie which interest me to watch it.
It was quite nice and I think there will be a series of this movie.
Anyhow, I feel the girl who Number Four admires, Sarah was sort of redundant in the movie somehow.
LOL.
Well, I like Number Six!!
She’s so cool!

Then, we tried some hot desserts at Snowflake as we were freezing cold at the cinema.
Yes, we were sitting right under the air-conditioner!

After that, we headed to Starhill Gallery.
The pianist who was playing on the stage caught my attention!
He was playing nothing’s gonna change my love for you (a piece that I’ve been yearning for the score since long time ago!)
 cam-whore at Starhill Gallery.. haha

Fahrenheit 88 was our next station, followed by Lot 10.
playing around with the felt blocks in Fahrenheit 88.. xD

We finally had our snack at the late evening as we were still bloated after taking up too much of liquid.
LOL.
This fusion of Italian & Chinese dish, char siew pizza was rather tasty though..

You know, it was freshly-baked unlike those pizzas that were usually only heated up right before serving to the customers.

Oh yeah, I was kinda paranoia after receiving messages from my friends about staying away from the radiation-polluted rain after being under the rain.
It sounded true. LOL!
But anyhow, it was just a false alarm! =.=

Hang Out with Son

March is a happening month.
Not to mention other important events, there are actually quite a number of VIP of mine celebrating their birthday in March!
I can’t celebrate my bestie’s 21st birthday this time as I was at outstation.  =(
Nevertheless, I did manage to have some sort of celebration/ hang out with my son & brother.
Let’s start with my son, CLeong’s.
We dined at the newly-opened outlet of Garden’s Lifestyle Store & Cafe as I promised like about 2 years ago.
Yes, I know this was very late, but it’s better than never right?
And, I was still keeping my words! xD

appetizer

 main courses

Following that, we planned to watch I Am Number Four initially but unfortunately, the seats left were not up to our satisfaction.
Hence, we changed to watch Burlesque instead.

Well, I did not know that Christina Aguilera’s voice is so powerful!
I admit that I don’t really listen to pop songs… but Christina Aguilera & Cher’s performances are stunning!
Hmm.. I like the songs in the movie, and so planning to get the OST of that.
The songs are still lingering in my mind until now!
Then, I brought my son to Delectable to get him a cake…
Wish it’s as delectable as it was named! xD

The weather is freezing cold after hours of rain.
It is so comfy indeed while wearing the room shoes to keep my ever-feeling-cold feet warm.
I like my newly-bought room shoes which bought from Singapore very much!

Seriously, I have never tried it before getting it.
(all because of my laziness to take off my shoes & socks at that time) Haha =.=
Yet, it turned up to be suits well with me..

Hehe..
Another thing I would like to highlight is, it only costs $2!!
This is soooo cheap! :)

This was a super random yamcha session seriously.
We hadn't met together after last year's X'mas I think...
Thanks to our tight schedule =(
Anyway, it was a super noisy gathering though there were only 5 of us.
Luckily, we did not receive any complains.. haha
It was quite surprising to bump into my junior, Daniel H over there.
Guess what, his uncle is the owner of the kopitiam!
The world is so small. Haha
And and, the always MIA & ever-fully-occupied friend of us, Dennis M turned up on that day!
I miss you all...
Not to forget, my dear who's currently at far away from KL..
Guess we'll be meeting in mid of May... Looking forward to the arrival of that :D

Studio sweets bought from Universal Studios Singapore for my siblings... :)

Trying out my webcam application in my lappy...LOL

Alright, we'll be meeting on this Sunday for the HIV & Aids awareness run!
Can't wait' xD

sneak peek

Alright, posts about Singapore trip, cousin's wedding, son & siblings' yum cha/ hang outs and many more will be published soon!
Stay tune readers :)

Meanwhile, take a sneak peek of my journey to the Lion City :D

Okay, off to Nilai in no time :)

Is having my awfully bitter traditional chinese medicine now...
In fact, it's not really traditional one which you have to spend hours preparing the medicine.
It's integrated with the aid of technology advancement which the medicine produced is in powder form!
Still, the bitterness can't be get rid of!
Duh... wonder when can I finish it...  T_T

It's more reliable to look for traditional chinese medicine doctors at such place.
Yeah, there are quite a few of doctors over there actually :)

Haiz.. If you have noticed, I have been falling sick almost fortnightly from Feb till mid of March..
Hopefully everything will get better soon @.@

Stay healthy peeps!

Johor Trip

Yeah right, it's in the mid of March and now I am gonna blog about my trip which was on end of Feb.

Too much of pending posts yet to be published!
Thanks to my broken internet connection due to lightning strike.

Anyhow, skip that part and let's start with the fun part!!
Weee~
It was our first time to Johor and we decided to take a bus to meet my friend over there.
(More photos of TBS, just click on it! )

Our bus tickets! (censored due to privacy issue xD)

It took us 3 hours plus to reach Johor Bahru.
Then, SEn picked us up and we went for lunch!
Cosy place..
The drink was actually chocolate soya bean! Looks like teh right?
Haha...
Thanks SEn for the treats <3

After settling down, we went to buy kite and headed down to Desaru!
Thanks to Daniel and his GPS, we manage to reach the destination.
It was our first time getting there and it's not as near as what I've thought from JB!

Later on, we went to Danga Bay for a walk after having a scrumptious dinner with SEn's mother...
Her mother is a great cooker, really!  :)

There's actually a fun fair/park over there!!

 Boats and the jetty!

Not much shots though due to my mobile phone is not really good in taking night shots. =[

Anyhow, will blog about my Singapore trip soon...

Can't find a good designer?
You won't regret of getting him as your designer!

Muahahaha... Today is the first day of Malaysian International Furniture Fair and yes, it's not open to public yet except international potential buyers and exhibitors.
But I am lucky to get invited by my friend to go for this exhibition today and of course, as a show of support!!

It's The Ideation Award 2011 which held in conjunction with Malaysian International Furniture 2011, 1-5 March @ PWTC & KLCC.

He has been telling me about this competition since last year and yay!!
He made it to the final round out of more than 250 participants at last and now standing as 1 of the finalists!
A round of applause to him :)

Take a look on his design and prototype:
(feel free to contact him if you wish to order his furniture!)

It's Clone!

Designed to accommodate the changing circumstances of our lives, Clone was created to satisfy the designer's belief that furniture should be able to function anywhere, any room, any home and in any era. Modular in design, these flexible storage pieces fit together in a variety of combination to suit any living, working, dining or sleeping area.

The form is based on 3 perfectly proportioned squares with calculated dimensions which allow clean connection between each component. These components are treated like pieces from a puzzle that can either be fixed together or functions on its own. Depending on the orientation of these components, Clone can also be used as a bench, stool or storage.

Thats all for his work?
Nah... You will be surprised when you browse through his portfolio!!
Trust me :)

Some other finalists prototype:

some other exhibitors...

It was a right choice for turning up at KLCC today.
It was indeed an eye-opening one and I am not sure if it's open to public.
Becoming an interior designer was one of my dreams...
Plus, there's only exhibition board without the showcase of prototype during the award ceremony at PWTC on this Thursday.
I was lucky to have this tag (nyek nyek) and able to enter the fair without the personnel & guards' restriction at the entrances.
Haha... (Thanks Angie!)
Special thanks to Can for the treats and wish him all the best in the award ceremony on this Thursday!!
Fingers crossed~
