Annual general meeting of clubs and societies were starting to held in July...
Students, especially sixth formers are inavoidable in joinning extra-curricular activites.
Yeah,
its vital for us, especially sixth formers,
to gain and hone our skills, experiences through these activities.
There were many choices offered by this school compared to my previous schools,
which made me hardly choose between these
=/
Anyways,
I've attended Photography club's AGM on 11 July as I was free that time after school.
Umm...
Previous exco were introduced by Pn. Yazleen to us..
Speech by president 07/08...
Matter arising session...
Then,
election of exco for 08/09.
As usual,
names were nominated for each post.
Well,
girls were nominated for secretary post as teacher advisors wanted to.
Incontrovertible,
my name was included.
=.=
Nominees were required to introduce themselves and talk about their experience.
I was appointed by teachers straight away without any voting after all the nominees' introduction...
This decision was made by them as I was regarded more experienced then others based on the posts and experiences I had in previous school.
>.<
Need to jot down the names of new excos and prepare minutes of AGM.
Also,
I will be guided by seniors to handle this duty.
And,
files and related documents of previous years will be handed over to me.
I will do my best!
^^

Wohoho...
Orientation period ended on 7 July.
This signified ceasing of dreaded time where juniors will be sort of being played or being seniors' slaves...
LoL!
But my personal seniors do care and treat me very well
=D
Well,
lower sixers were briefed by Pn. Gan about the orientation thingy after morning assembly.
The interesting part was...
there will be a competition where best male and female seniors will be chosen.
And the voting session will be started on that day after school.
One can only vote for 1 male and female senior.
Hehe...
Of course I know who I should vote for and deserve my vote...
Keke...
Oh yeah,
all of us were required to hand in our orientation form and completed with seniors' signatures.
I left few seniors' signatures!
Gosh...
Luckily MHua offered his helping hand and showed me the seniors...
Otherwise it would take me for a long time to figure out who are they...
>.<

Thanks MHua!
Yeah!
I completed the form and managed to hand in during recess time to our class representative - PYong, who was also my personal senior =)

my orientation form... (see that MU's logo? Yeah, my senior is an ardent fan of MU!)

Not to be forgotten,
my seniors who were always there to aid me and get other seniors' signature...
Really appreciate of what you all did for me...
(n_n)
Erm...
I did some bookmarks for them...
100% handmade
Wish they like it
;)

23 May—2 June 08

Well,
I was working during BookFest at KLCC from 23 May—2 June 08.
It’s the biggest book fest in Southeast Asia.
I worked night shift on 23 May 08 from 10pm till 12pm of the next day.

Umm..
Staffs were mostly comprised of university and college students...
Also,
popular staffs from the outlets of whole Malaysia.

Umm...
Thousands of staffs in total at there...
I was considered as one of the youngests over there.
Firstly,
We all were gathered and divided into different sections by HR staffs.
Area of works and related information was briefed by them to us.
Next,
Get started!
Unwrapping stocks of books,
setting up those shelves,
arrange those books and so forth...
Working non-stop!
Of course,
there were 2 session of short breaks
xD

Setting up~

Finished!

24 May 08,
first day of book fest.
Erm…
Our job weren’t that hard compared to the preparation of book fest as we did previously.
Hehe…
However,
We were required to stand from 9:45am - around 10pm everyday.
Hmm… reached home around 12am if there’s any overtime
>.<

Anyways,

I had the chance of meeting those famous people,

Including Fahrenheit, Taiwan writers and chief, Tun Mahathir, television celebrities at there

Hoho…

Oh yeah,

There was one thing that made me feel sad about…

It was happened on the last day of the book fest…

A customer came to me and inquired me for a book titled “ 100 types of happiness ” by XX if I am not mistaken.

Its

As usual,

I asked for the publisher..

Bla bla bla…

To narrow the searching range.

I still couldn't find it even asked few section leaders and searched in the computer…

I returned to the customer.

But he looked very wanting for that book,

And told me it actually translated from English to Chinese…

Thus,

I strode quickly to another hall, English hall to look for that book…

Few procedures were did…

Running here and there but yet,

Still couldn't find yet…

I returned with disappointment to my booth and apologized to the customer.

Aiks..

He was looking for this book for a period…

Went to few outlets and yet,

Still couldn’t get it..

It’s a motivational book I heard,

According to him.

Later on then only I found out he has no left arm!

O_O

Can be described as handicapped person?

Not really I think…

He’s not much different than other people besides that particular deficiency.

In fact,

He is an optimistic guy when I saw he chatted happily with his friends.

I can feel the disappointment at him when I said I couldn’t get him the book…

Even though he replied never mind and thanked me for searching so hard for that book

=.=

With smile and grateful when he spoke!

Somehow,

This made me feel more sorry..

I failed to get the book he wanted…

>.<

we are in 1 team ^^

my partner & I

colleagues...

my ex-supervisor

YP & KY =D

my visa xD

my booths... (before & after)

On 1 June 08,
Which was the last day of the book fest,
Popular has extended the business hour to 11pm.
Anyhow,
Its doesn't affect our working hour at all.
All of us required to work for 24 hours at the last day!
Umm…
We started to pack up all the things after all of the customers left.
Distributed mountains of books according to their respective publisher..
Stacked up and arranged the books…
Wrapping, sealing...
our look of after worked for 24 hours... =.=
the panda eyes were so obvious!
@.@

Took this early in the morning at the park of KLCC before heading home...

Finito!
Slept for almost 12 hours after reaching home...
Deprivation of rest
-.-!l
Can't even go for birthday celebration of 'mom' at night....
>.<
Anyhow,
this was an exhausting yet enjoyable working experience

21 May 08

There was a prefect came to me and asked for my name in the morning.
Just after I reached the school
>.<
21 May 08 was the day Form 6 Orientation was started.
Every lower 6 student will be taken care of 2 personal seniors.
And the list was distributed to every class.
Umm...
MHua was the one who was so excited about the namelist.
Called aloud the names of morians and our respective personal seniors.
LoL!
I was informed that Chua Pei Yong & Suresh a/l Rajandran will be my personal seniors.
Well,
MHua came to me and said I was very lucky to have Pei Yong as my personal senior.
She was a nice person.
Some even said that she was looking for me in the morning!
Anyway,
since I was still new to that school,
their names were just a name listed on the paper..
I don't even know who are they and how they look like...
=.=
Anyhow,
MHua was also Pei Yong's personal junior
=)
Can ask for his help to look for my personal seniors.
I've really no idea who were they.
Haha
