Featuring 57 players, Russian Roulette Concert, the 1st debut by Taylor’s University Symphony Orchestra was held successfully.
Guess what, there were 1000 seats prepared.
From what we've seen, it was FULL HOUSE!!
The president/ conductor, Sunny was once told me it was his dream to hold a concert before he graduates in this May after years of striving to establish the club and getting a lump sum of $ from Taylor’s to buy the instruments which was really not eaasy!
I guess it’s the dream of every founder of the club!

Of course, it was always my dream to join orchestra though I’m already in KLPac Symphonic Band!
This is 1 of the reasons why do I learn flute as my minor instrument!
Speaking of the preparation of this concert, I really appreciate my musician friends who lend me a big hand when I was looking for musicians & rare instrument such as tuba to support and enhance the orchestra at the very last minute.
I never knew the music can be so great with the existence of tuba when Mr. Yeap kept on saying the missing of tuba!
It do touched our heart when tubas were played together with us :)
Some of them spent loads of time, effort and $ to come all the way long to help us and play in the orchestra!
Seriously, I was so desperate looking for tuba and tuba players.

Well, though this concert wasn’t prepared for long at all, quite a rush one I suppose but it was totally awesome!
There were actually many pro players in the team to make this a success.

It was such a great pleasure to get to know many new friends in the orchestra, especially the funny & inspiring coach, Mr. Yeap who came all the way from Perak and guided us!!

Flying Forward Together
Yeah right, it's in its 21st year this year!
It's an important event of the year for the 4 main boards of Methodist Boys Secondary School Kuala Lumpur: Prefectorial Board, Board of Information Technology (IT) Brigade, Board of Student Librarians & Sportsman (wonders if it's still existing this year) where certain boards of KL & Selangor secondary schools will be invited to this event.
This is my 3rd time going for this event, most probably my last time as most of my batch of board juniors & brothers are graduating very soon.
It has brought back so much of memories whenever I turned up to this event.
CBD 2009 was an epic!
Neither this year's as well.
It's worth though I skipped my 3 hours classes this time.

A memorable place since 3 years ago.
We didn't eat all together since years ago.
Of course, there were lists of epic words throughout the day.
Buffet, glass, 自由餐，自助餐，南北大道, wet... and the list goes on.
ROFL.
Anyway, it's such a great pleasure of meeting old friends and dear juniors again...
Would there be such a gathering next time?

The 4 hours + interval of our classes on Friday was indeed a draggy one...
Hence, Bethany & I went to Sunway Pyramid to have our brunch...
Ah ha, we were the first customer of The Manhattan Fish Market of the day! xD
Of course, we fully-utilized our privilege as a student by using our student card. heh
After that, something caught our attention when we were window-shopping after brunch.
Yes, it was the origami cranes for Japan!!
I don't really know how to fold origami cranes to be honest, but I was lucky to have Bethany with me and she taught me how to fold!

Well, it's in conjunction with the To Japan We Care campaign by Sunway Group.
According to a well-known Japanese legend, a thousand origami cranes will make wishes come true and the messages written on the wings will reach the desired person.
So people, let's fold more than a thousand origami cranes to share their morale support for Japan starting this weekend til mid-April @ Sunway Giza in Kota Damansara, Sunway Pyramid in Subang Jaya & Sunway Carnival in Penang. For Taylor's University students, there were actually a campaign running in this week.
Origami papers and instructions are provided FREE OF CHARGE!
Yes, for every paper crane received, the Bezos Family Foundation will donate $2 to Architecture for Humanity in support of Japanese rebuilding efforts!!
And, this initiative is supported by the Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur (JFKL)!

2nd day count: 9246 & still counting...
Umm... Another way that we can contribute in rebuilding of Japan!

I'm only in the 2nd week of my new semester but reaching home earliest at 8pm, latest at 12am!
Yeah, I am out from house by 7am almost everyday due to morning class.
I can't help dozing off at anytime including walking, seriously!
Microsleeping doesn't work on me as I've accumulated too much of sleep debts D:
Fret not, mainly this is not due to my curriculum but upcoming events & few things that I have to settle.
Oh yesh, just had performance during March Intake Orientation Night 2 days ago at Taylor's University Multi Purpose Hall with Taylor's University Symphony Orchestra :)
Well, it was sort of a warm up session for us before our Russian Roulette concert on 23rd April 2011 (Saturday) at 7pm!!
Then, we took a group shot after the performance.

Well, it was a freaking tiring day and I only got to have 1 proper meal on that day D:
Hmm... went to listen a piccolo + flute lesson conducted by Brian just after the night performance...
It was a kinda creepy one as the lesson was located at the newly-bought weed-grown yard of an abandoned-like mansion which is just next to his house.
LOL
Anyhow, the echo projected was just nice to practice flute over there! haha
Then, get help from Brian to fix my problematic flute..!!
I was very emo till it is fixed temporary now.. Huhu...
Hopefully everything is alright till after the concert!

What? Youth Job Fair?
Nah, I'm not going to look for any job in this fair but for my first St. John public duty after my last duty in last year.
Yeah, it's been 1 year ago since my last concert duty during S.H.E concert.
Of course, I've purposely dyed my hair to black in order to go back to this big family :)
400 bucks gone with no regrets!
Well, did you know that you need not fasten your seat belt when you are sitting at the front seat of ambulance car?
I bet most of you do not know about this.
Neither I till I had my 1st experience sitting just beside the ambulance driver, EMAS.
Luckily it was not as terrifying as ambulance driver use to drive fast & furious... ROFL
The funniest thing was, I was holding the safety belt all the way though I can't find any receptacle to insert the safety belt.
Anyway, it was fun to duty with St. John Ambulance members... :)
