Waking up in the morning, realising that my fever has got better, yay (acupuncture works!).
My plan of going back to my high school to farewell with my teacher can be carried on.

He, who has been serving Methodist Boys' Secondary School Kuala Lumpur (MBSSKL) for 33 years ever since his teaching career has finally come to an end.
He was the senior assistant of extra-curricular activities during my time before he was assigned to be a Form 6 teacher.
Although he had not taught me any academic subject, yet his guidance throughout the years will not be forgotten!
Mr Chin was one of the teachers that I will look for in almost every morning when I reach school or after school.
Having 5 posts in the Board, sports house and clubs, I need to get his advice and approval from things as simple as announcement notice to proposal.
As a matter of fact, MBS is a culture-rich centenary school that has its own set of protocols to adhere.
Coming from a new government secondary school where I was in the first batch, I was not exposed to these in the past 5 years.
Culture shock was common to those who enrolled in MBS.
Notwithstanding, things ran smoothly with Mr Chin's guidance along the way.
I still remember when I was organising my 1st ever event: MBS Idol, he was the one who examined my proposal, pointed out the mistakes and explained in detail for me to rectify before submitting it to the principal.
He also suggested good place that make trophies.
That was of great help for one who doesn't have much experience at that time while having the need to make trophies for few events.
Never once did I see him on fire.
He is a man of patience.
Well, it was really delighting when he still remembers me after so long.
No, I did not further my studies in music nor active in any music-related competition any more.
He thought I was the pioneer batch for the MBS Idol as it was one of the events that impressed him few years back then.
However, it was saddening that the Music & Choir Club that I was chairing was ceased after a year or 2 after I left.
The reason (finally unveiled) being was it requires a lot of commitment from not only students but experienced teacher while MBS place more emphasis on academic.
He wondered if there will be MBS Idol being organised in the future.
Thinking back, of so many events that were held and with the help from Photography Club every time, I realised that I have not taken any photo of him!
Yes, he is very low profile.

Except the class/ club/ society/ board photos that were taken annually...

Looking at the tags and badges, I really appreciate all my teachers, friends and morianz especially, not to forget my best partner: Benny Tham, School Captain 08/09 who made upholding these posts possible:

Garnering my experience in event management and running few clubs at once during my school life, it made me where I am today.

When I was on my way leaving the school, I bumped into Boon Sian, the Honourary School Captain if I am not mistaken looking nice with the full white uniform; Saran sitting like a model in front of the prefect room (how I miss the IT Brigade grey uniform).
Though it has been years that I have graduated from MBS, my short but precious memory during that period would last forever.
So much to say, but deep down in my heart I know I couldn't thank you enough Mr Chin!
To all TARCians taking A-level, you all will be lucky to have a good teacher very soon!

Kit Yee
Class of 08/09

I have a couple of friends leaving Malaysia to United States and Australia/ United Kingdom..
In fact, some already left :(

Some say that the loss of a friend is like that of a limb.
Time may heal the anguish of the wound, but the loss cannot be repaired.
Yet, life must move on and we shall go forward!

1. Benny Tham
My T- Force partner. (haha..)
Got to know him when we went for Music & Choir Club AGM 2008.
Till then, I only found out that he was actually the PROTEM/ prefect's exco wannabe and being elected as school captain at the end.
He was a good leader I must say, being the Council Chairman and Drum Major of 1st KL Boys Brigade, School Captain as well as Vice President + Conductor of Music & Choir Club, we worked together well especially in organizing and carrying out Music & Choir Club events: MBS Idol 2008 & 2009, Show Your Talent Musical Instrument(s) Competition 2009.
He was a very good partner of mine and I need not to worry about any task that assigned to him which made my life much easier.
Besides, he's a trustworthy and caring friend.
Don't believe?
Ask those whoever around him ;)
I still remember the duet practice session that we had in the school hall playing winter sonata.. mesmerizing!
Multi-talented yet humble are another reasons he's well-liked!


2. Goh Chin Chuan
A very quiet and skillful yet low profile clarinetist.
He's a loyal person.
Nevertheless, he's a dedicated and responsible member.
That's one of the reasons I strongly recommended him to become the Woodwind Section Leader.
Yeah, he'll be there for practices though exam is just few days away! 
"Diam-diam ubi berisi" best describes him.


3. Ian Beh
A proactive member and music lover.
Yes, he self-learn the double bass and become our orchestra's first double bassist!
Regarded as 'gay gay one' with CKia.. hahaha
An out-going friend :)


4. Lee Chee Kia
Nerdy at the first sight, a super introvert partner-in-crime with Ian.
Always bumped into him somewhere near or in the library.
Got to know him since April but he only joined us at the end of November.
Yeah, the first and last show before he's flying after asking him to join us for soooo many times.


5. Chan Teng Hooi
Multi-talented and a very dedicated member, acting conductor + arranger.
Playing violin, trombone, flute and piano is not a problem for him.
Less one friend to go and watch music concert upon his leaving.
"Cutie" is his another nickname. Haha..
Another road blind like me... wakakaka...

Frankly, it's kind of saddening knowing your friends leaving to somewhere far far away especially it's a bunch of them!
However, every goodbye makes the next hello closer!
That makes the 'good' in goodbye :)






Coming from different states in Malaysia, be it from Peninsular and East of Malaysia, yet we met each other among gazillions of people..
Yup, music unites us!!
Cherish the moments we have together..
Appreciate you guys' contributions & dedications all this while...
May you guys be well, do good and keep in touch!

Flying Forward Together
Yeah right, it's in its 21st year this year!
It's an important event of the year for the 4 main boards of Methodist Boys Secondary School Kuala Lumpur: Prefectorial Board, Board of Information Technology (IT) Brigade, Board of Student Librarians & Sportsman (wonders if it's still existing this year) where certain boards of KL & Selangor secondary schools will be invited to this event.
This is my 3rd time going for this event, most probably my last time as most of my batch of board juniors & brothers are graduating very soon.
It has brought back so much of memories whenever I turned up to this event.
CBD 2009 was an epic!
Neither this year's as well.
It's worth though I skipped my 3 hours classes this time.

Somehow this time was full of musical performances......
Anyhow, EKein + Joel's performance was good.
I've got to watch your performance on stage though can't play with you together years ago.
Haha...


The event ended with Water Game.
But yes, we seniors left earlier out of hunger.. haha.
We headed to Bar B Q Plaza @ Times Square with CLeong, CWay, Dickson, YYang, KYoong, CHaur, BTek, TSFG & Ruenn.



A memorable place since 3 years ago.
We didn't eat all together since years ago.
Of course, there were lists of epic words throughout the day.
Buffet, glass, 自由餐，自助餐，南北大道, wet... and the list goes on.
ROFL.
Anyway, it's such a great pleasure of meeting old friends and dear juniors again...

After 'haggling' with her...

The hall was used for some functions and hence we can't set up earlier...
As a result?
The teacher(s) in-charge of the competition was pretty rage at us..
Wanted to take action on us...
Sort of demerit or send us to Pn. Gan...

Somehow the problem was settled...

someone has been praised due to the successful of this ceremony...
